Looks 3-D? It's not - all achieved by careful painting of shadows by picking up the walnut stain colour direct from the pad with a waterbrush pen. The colour layers beautifully, just as a shadow would. For the compass, stamp the outline first and allow to dry - then paint in the colour and the walnut stain outline shouldn't run. | | |
