The Manic Stamper

Step 1 of 10

Cut out three frames from thick paper and stick them together. This gives the required thickness and strength.
TOP TIP 1
Wait for the glue to dry before moving on!

Step 2 of 10

After covering the frame with Perfect Medium using the supplied ink pad, dab on the gold effect Perfect Pearls powder. Leave a couple of small gaps.
TOP TIP 2
Use the small tipped brush for putting on the powder - it picks up less each time avoiding wastage.

Step 3 of 10

For a weathered look, add small amounts of green verdigris Perfect Pearl powder in the gaps left above, again using the small tipped brush.
TOP TIP 3
Other colour combinations are explained on the Perfect Pearls instruction card contained in the pack.

Step 4 of 10

Using the dusting brush, work the powders into the medium, brushing away the excess.

Step 5 of 10

Using a spray bottle, mist the completed frame with water. This fixes the Perfect Pearls.
TOP TIP 5
For a hammered effect, beat the frame all over with the brush handle whilst still damp.

Step 6 of 10

To age the labels, dab the antique linen Distress Ink onto a non-stick craft sheet and mist with water.

Step 7 of 10

Place the white tag face down onto the distress ink and lift up. A random stain pattern should develop.

Step 8 of 10

Don't forget to wipe down your craft sheet with a dampened cloth.

Step 9 of 10

Leave paper tags to dry.

Step 10 of 10

All that remains is to cut out some inserts from acetate to form the glass cover, and assemble - either use mini brads or small eyelets to fix everything together.
